Full-height (170 cm) solid oak cheval mirror, Art Deco period, 1930s.
Swivel frame with double fluted side posts in a geometric profile characteristic of the 1930s style. Rectangular frame with simple molding enclosing an original mirror with an antique patina around the edges. Cast brass swivel knobs in the shape of pine cones, a refined decorative detail contrasting with the overall simplicity of the piece. Base composed of two horizontal glides connected by a lower crossbar, a typical Art Deco form. The back is fitted with a period plywood panel, patinated and scratched, confirming the piece's age. Oak stained a honey-mahogany tone. Wear consistent with age, very good overall condition, no restoration work reported. Dimensions: H. 170 cm – W. 38 cm – Weight: 40 kg.
