A refined, generously sized oval wall mirror in the Neoclassical/Adam style, featuring a gilded frame with finely carved decorations. The upper frieze is richly decorated with a central palmette or lily motif and openwork scrolls. Delicate garlands and cascading pendants with plant and bellflower motifs elegantly frame the upper and lower portions of the mirror. Crafted from carved and gilded cast brass. Inspired by the Neoclassical style (particularly the Adam or Louis XVI style), a furniture style widespread in Europe between the late 18th and mid-20th centuries.
