Superb pair of art deco wall sconces signed ejg france (jean gauthier)
circa 1930 (paris)
pressed molded glass with a stylized ray design
nickel-plated bronze mount with a geometric design
fully rewired
signed "france ejg 1044" (jean gauthier) on the inner edge of the glass (see photos)
one of the two glass panels (on the inner edge = invisible) has been lightly ground to remove a small chip. The glass is completely intact, and the grinding is not at all visible when the glass is in the mount (neither from the front nor the outside).
the exterior is impeccable.
a pair in very good condition, high quality, and ready to be installed!
