this large, wide piece, reminiscent of a jam cupboard, is a product of savoyard folk art.

we love its handcrafted design, its generous size, its two drawers, and its double doors, each adorned with shell-style handles carved from the wood.
the drawer fronts, doors, and paneled sides of the unit are decorated with typical savoyard motifs carved directly into the wood. These details lend it a certain authenticity and undeniable charm.

the patina is original, relatively dark, yet retains a beautiful luminosity.

there may be some imperfections in the wood due to its age. This piece is quite heavy.
