They decided to come up with a logo, a monogram, which was indeed the famous and very recognisable print we are so familiar with today.

This stunning Louis Vuitton hat trunk is finished with stencilled monogrammed canvas, leather trim and brass fittings, made in France around 1910. This trunk was a must have item for any elite traveller harking back to times of passenger ships and 1st class travel of bygone eras. The brass fittings were “top of the range” at Louis Vuitton at the time and today makes for a great conversation piece, a great size for a coffee table or side table suitable for any interior, both modern or traditional.

CONDITION

In Overall Good Antique Condition - Wear, scuffs and marks consistent with age and extensive use. The canvas shows areas of rubbing and patina, and the interior displays age-related discolouration. Lacking keys. Please refer to photographs
