A beautiful and elegant antique Adam style console table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.
The quality is lovely, it is solid throughout and this is a very useful item. The four legs are tapered and terminate in spade feet, supporting a demi-lune shaped top. There is nice carving of swags and a central urn on the lower edge.
We have had this recently revived and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some extremely minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
