The main body is crafted from heavily hand-hammered brass, displaying a rich, authentic historic patina. It is structurally framed at the top and bottom by thick, solid copper banding secured with robust, oversized copper perimeter rivets.The bucket features its original thick, solid copper swing bale handle, mounted securely to the rim with decorative, stylized brass wing bracket mounts. The interior shows an authentic dark aged oxidation.
