L'Illustration was a French weekly illustrated newspaper/magazine published in Paris from 1843 to 1944.
Numerous beautiful plates and illustrations, many tipped-in and accented with metallic inks, great articles written in French about art, literature and design, as well as numerous advertisements from famous brands of the time. The Sandeman ad is especially appealing. Some cover wear, otherwise good vintage condition.
