A vivid, heavily layered oil painting that punctuates her rhythmic, gestural marks with varying shades of indigo, purples, pinks, blues, turquoise, and greens, "Soul by the Sea" will add a punch of texture and color to any space. This dynamic, moody, energetic, sculptural painting is inspired by the many colors and tides of the Hudson River and the lower Hudson Valley where Monica creates in her studio overlooking the landscape. This painting is created on a gallery-wrapped canvas that is painted on all four sides.

Monica has been featured in various publications including Popular Photography, Create magazine, and the Huffington Post. In 2019 she was named "Best Artist" in Westchester by Westchester magazine.
