This is a gorgeous, large silverplate punch bowl and silverplate tray by Gorham in the "Newport" pattern that has a lovely embosssd rim and a beautiful embossed design on the tray. What a showstopping way to serve punch, or for a more "modern" use, as a huge Champage chiller at your next wedding shower, wedding, college graduation, or baby shower! This is AMAZING and would be happily shared between friends for maximum usability! Filled with anything from Champage to brunch juices and bottled water, this is the absolute most glamorous party accessory I can think of! It would also be gorgeous as a centerpiece on any formal tabletop or sideboard - fill it with flowers and it is a stunning pedestal bowl of epic proportions.
It is in lovely condition and ready to serve! The engraved surface of the tray has space to add a monogrammed center detail - these pieces are just so beautiful! It has been cared for beautifully and comes in its original box.
The ladle is present and has just a slight loss of plating that reveals the copper underneath...
Both pieces are 17 1/2" diameter and the bowl is 8 1-2" tall. there could be some need for a few touch-ups to the faint tarnish but that can be removed very easily. See less
