This is a beautiful set of 6 vintage Hermes placemats, made in 1979, and designed in a beautiful, traditionally Hermes, … Read more This is a beautiful set of 6 vintage Hermes placemats, made in 1979, and designed in a beautiful, traditionally Hermes, horse hardware motif, with floral sprays in the center. There are three different styles, with one pattern having one placemat, another having three matching placemats, and the third having two matching placemats. They are all in stunning colors, and are made in France of 100% cotton. All are free of stains except for one that has a yellowish stain on the backside- all are very clean on the front.
They would be lovely framed and used on the wall, or used for a high style tabletop - I could see them being used on a movie set or as a feature in a editorial photo-shoot!
