I love the collected feeling of adding antique engravings to a space - it feels very cozy and rather English to layer these into a gallery wall or tuck them into a library or study. They are signed “Stewart” in one corner and Lixars in the other. To find a pair of Rhinos seems to be tricky these days - I can’t find another set like them!
This pair is beautifully framed in burled wood frames in a gorgeous warm brown color, and accented on the rope detail with a gold wash. They have another liner piece in a rope detail and a creamy silk mat.
These are in lovely condition with no fixing or discoloration to the paper. the frames have a few tiny dents and one has a bit of damage to the back wall-side edge, but it could be touched up an minimized very easily. Please see photos for that detail.
