The sleeve is engraved for a well-known winery in France and inscribed for the year 2005. The year 2005 was a stellar year for Bordeaux and for this winery. The sleeve has a gilt wash which is in very good condition. The sleeve was most likely created for a special wine tasting or a special customer. An excellent piece for any wine lover's collection.

This piece as acquired in France from a private estate. A commemorative sleeve from this winery does not come on the market very often.

French, bearing punches to denote Metal Blanc or silver plate, maker's mark is being researched.
