What an inspiring work of art by Nancy Schon, well-known for her captivating bronzes. Her “Make Way for Ducklings” sculptures at the Boston Public Garden is a rite of passage for tourists, local families, and kids on field trips. The bronze artworks have endured since 1987, sometimes sporting Red Sox hats, Boston Marathon bibs, or sunglasses.
This piece is number 5 of an edition of only 18. It is in excellent estate condition. (Note the tiny chip on the back corner of the marble, barely noticeable especially from a front view.)
