The geometric shape, … Read more This original Philips spotlight from the 1970s beautifully demonstrates how functional design and distinctive styling come together. The geometric shape, bright yellow color, and black accents give the lamp a strong space-age look without being garish. The spotlight is crafted from lacquered metal and rests on a compact square base. A U-shaped metal bracket is attached to the base, allowing the spotlight to be easily adjusted. This enables the lamp to provide both direct and indirect light, making it suitable for various interior applications. It makes a lovely subtle wall spotlight in a vintage interior, but is also perfect as a compact desk lamp or for atmospheric accent lighting in a cabinet or niche. It is precisely the understated size combined with the powerful form that makes this lamp special. The original square switch is still located at the base of the lamp and functions properly. The lamp is in neat vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with its age. It has been carefully cleaned and technically inspected by us so that it can be used immediately.
