A simple white cloud floats above a dark sea with a sliver of light on the horizon, the light falling in a pool below. This original oil painting brings the viewer thoughts of peace and tranquility created in a pallet of grays and blacks and whites, a line of silver leaf represents the horizon below the cloud is silver leaf in a heap of light.

This painting is made with many layers of oil paint on canvas. It is very large 41" wide by 48" long. It was intentionally created with the boarders painted allowing the painting to be put on stretchers (wooden frame), therefor the format has an extra 4" or 10 cm on all sides for it to be framed on stretchers. It can also be nailed to the wall unframed in a Boho look, or clamped with clips and connected with a heavy chain you can buy at the hardware store. Hang it as you choose, be inventive, it ships rolled up in a tube to wherever you are. See less
