Signed and dated 1979 contemporary work on paper by Pascale Vial, titled “The Seal and the Walrus.”
This striking monochromatic composition combines abstract, surreal, and figurative elements in a highly expressive arrangement of organic forms, gestural lines, and rich tonal contrasts. Pencil titled lower left, marked A/P (Artist Proof) at center, and signed and dated lower right.
