Traditionally, all sofas were made using just natural materials. Ours are made traditionally, featuring solid hardwood frames, fully sprung steel seats and natural fibres. The result is as you’d imagine, incredibly comfortable and hand made beautifully to last a lifetime.

'Bespoke, by hand and limited production'

My sofas are made completely bespoke for you by hand in North Carolina by a family owned and run business. They are highly skilled craftspeople who are very dedicated to producing truly exceptional quality. As a result, there will only ever be a limited amount available every year.

'Sofas designed for living in'

If your sofas are anything like mine, they get a lot of use from family friends and lots of dogs too. For that reason, many of my sofas come with loose covers so they can be removed for cleaning. I wanted mine to be really easy to change so I have added a beautiful bow detail at the back of them that makes it super easy to change your covers.

Materials: Our sofas are made from natural materials including: Solid Hardwood frame, all natural fibres, individual coil steel springs and Feather Filled Cushions. The seat cushions are foam wrapped in a feather and down mixture, but all feather and natural latex options are also available. Foam core cushions will be firm when they first arrive but they will get 25% softer in a period of 6 months.

Please Note: All of our sofas can be made in sectional parts (for a small surcharge) to facilitate access into your home and our team will assemble it for you on site.

Packaging: All of our pieces are wrapped carefully and delivered by our own team in recycled plastic for hygiene purposes.

Guarantee: 25 years for the frame, 25 years for the springs.

Customisation Options: As our furniture is all handmade to order for you, we are able to make our Coco collection in any size and any suitable fabric in the world. We can adapt the height, depth and cushion, feet or castor finishes on the collection. We offer these customisation offers on our corner unit, chaise sofas, u-shaped sofas, sofa beds and footstools or coffee tables. Fabric Care & Instructions: GP & J Baker's Magnolia linen fabric is one of our most popular fabrics due to its striking botanical design that blends traditional floral motifs with a modern aesthetic. This fabric is part of the Baker Originals collection and has been in print for over 25 years. Known for its vibrant colours and intricate detailing it is produced with traditional screen printing methods with inks that have good fastness to light.

Colourfastness

The Magnolia linen fabric has a Martindale rub test rating of 20,000, indicating a medium level of durability suitable for light to moderate use in upholstery and drapery. However, it's important to note that the fabric's vibrant colours may be susceptible to fading over time if left exposures to direct sunlight or to heat sources. To maintain the fabric's appearance, it's advisable to use avoid prolonged sun exposure.

Care Instructions

Proper care is essential to preserve the fabric's quality and appearance:

- Dry Cleaning: Always dry clean the fabric professionally. Avoid washing at home, as water can cause shrinkage and damage to the fibres.

- Avoid Tumble Drying: Do not tumble dry. Heat can weaken linen fibres and affect the fabric's structure.
