Inspired by the historic English ancestral home of the Spencer family, these chairs represent the pinnacle of high-end classical reproduction furniture.

Each chair features an exquisitely hand-carved, pierced interlaced splat back with gorgeous architectural fretwork, a serpentine top rail, and a solid H-stretcher base. The seats are upholstered in what appears to be the original rich sage green velvet/chenille texturized fabric.

The underside of the frames features the iconic Althorp gilt armorial crest emblem as well as the original Theodore Alexander maker tags. Perfect for a stately dining room or a large-scale traditional interior project.

Condition Report:
Very Good vintage condition. Frames are structurally sound, heavy, and tight with sturdy joinery. The green upholstery shows some use on a few chairs but is quite clean and free of major stains, tears, or structural wear. There is light, cosmetic scuffing and minor wear around the bottom of some of the legs consistent with normal use, adding to their authentic estate character.
