A handsome and well-proportioned cocktail table by Baker Furniture, one of America's most respected makers of high-quality traditional and Asian-influenced furniture. The square mahogany frame features clean, straight legs with subtly flared feet in the Ming style — a hallmark of Baker's celebrated Chinoiserie line — topped with a cognac leather surface finished with a stamped gilt border of classical foliate detail.
At 34" square, it's a generous size that anchors a seating arrangement without overwhelming it. The warm tobacco leather and dark mahogany combination works equally well in a traditional library, an eclectic living room, or a campaign-style interior.

Condition: Good vintage condition. The leather top shows a few ring stains and a small area of finish loss — honest wear for a 60-year-old piece that has clearly been used and enjoyed. The mahogany frame is solid and sturdy.
