This pair of tables have wooden bases very recently painted in a soft platinum metallic color with tops made of a synthetic material made to resemble marble.
They are very sturdy and have only minor knicks. The side table does have what looks like a burn mark, which is about an inch long (see next to last photo.) However, the top remains smooth, so it's hard to know exactly what it is.
The coffee table is a nice long oval, 26" x 45" x 15.5 inches high. The round side table, with a 24-inch diameter, could also be used as a coffee table, as you can see in the second photo.
My guess on the age is the 1960s or 70s. The artificial marble could be a polymer resin. It has a glossy finish.
