Original vintage pastel portrait of a dog, rendered with layered naturalistic color and expressive detail. The strong direct gaze and beautifully modeled face give the portrait wonderful character and presence.
Presented with deep charcoal matting and a black frame accented with antique-gold beaded detail, giving the piece a handsome, collected presentation.
Signed and dated 1983 lower right. Presented under glass and ready to hang. Measurements are shown in the photos.
