Vintage Signed Jan Jacque Pottery Artist mirror. The mirror has a beautiful organic shape and is framed with clay in an elegant wave-like form. The pottery elements have a beautiful pink, teal, and charcoal colors. Mirror is signed to reverse. The mirror glass is 1/4" thick and ready to hang with wire.
Dimensions: 32"W x 2"D x 14"H
Condition: Excellent condition. Minor wear consistent with age and use. No cracks to glass or pottery. Please see photos.
About the artist (from her website - janjacque.com):
"I received a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology, School for American Craftsmen in 1977. My long year career as a full-time potter has been devoted to making beautiful objects for individuals and galleries who appreciate fine craft. I have received many awards for my creations and exhibit my work in many excellent galleries across the country. Four of my pieces are in the permanent collection at the Mint Museum of Craft and Design (Allen Chasanoff Ceramic Collection).
I ‘frame’ the mirror in clay and sculpted hardwood. They open up a room or office space by reflecting light. The curving shapes and lines created offer a functional and unique visual hanging art form."
