A stunning example of Swedish Mid-Century Modern design, this vintage wall sconce was designed by acclaimed artist Bertil Vallien for the Boda Smide smithy in Sweden.
Crafted in the 1970s, the piece features a hand-forged, brutalist wrought iron frame with a classic circular motif and a tiered, hand-blown clear glass candle well.
This particular piece is a rare find for collectors as it includes a Boda Smide box.
While the box shows some vintage wear commensurate with age, the glass component is in mint condition. The sconce has some minor wear.
