Designed by Erik Wørtz in the 1950s, the "Kolding" sofa offers a balanced interpretation of postwar Scandinavian modernism, combining light lines and meticulously crafted teak. The slender frame highlights the quality of the wood through tapered armrests, tapered legs, and the slanted slatted backrest, a distinctive feature of the model. The cushions have recently been reupholstered in light-colored fabric, complementing the warm teak hues and the minimalist design. The overall effect reflects the quest for comfort and proportion typical of mid-20th-century Nordic design. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
