Set of two adjustable lamps in chromed metal with a clamp, flexible neck, and cylindrical diffusers lacquered white on the inside. Labeled Nybro Armaturfabrik AB, 1950s.
Produced by Nybro Armaturfabrik AB in the second half of the twentieth century, these Swedish bedside lamps reflect the essential language of 1950s Scandinavian lighting. The chromed metal frame has a linear and discreet silhouette, softened by the flexible arm that allows for easy adjustment of the light. The cylindrical diffusers, lacquered white on the inside, provide direct, clean lighting, while the clamp system allows for attachment to headboards, shelves, or thin surfaces. The simple proportions and functional construction recall the Nordic rationalist aesthetic of the period, balancing industrial production with attention to detail. Manufacturer's label included.
