A clear glass cylinder open at the base, with a conical internal diffuser in ivory-colored glass and an exposed bulb on a metal stem. The light emitted upward creates a lantern effect, while the outer glass captures and diffuses the glow without filtering it. Manufactured by flos, milan. One of castiglioni's most refined and least celebrated designs.
a piece designed by one of the absolute masters of italian design, originally produced in the 1970s. It works just as effectively in any contemporary interior as it did back then.
