Glazed earthenware; sgraffito decoration hand-engraved on slip before firing, a cloud-effect metallic oxide glaze applied during the second firing—a technique unique to the Blin workshop.
Sources of inspiration: Cave and rock art, iconography of ancient civilizations (Cretan, Mesopotamian); fantastic and stylized plant life forming the pictographic vocabulary developed in collaboration with the painter Jean Rustin from 1955 onwards.
Awards: Grand Prix Bernard de Palissy (1958); Gold Medal at the International Ceramics Exhibition (1962); Knight of the Legion of Honour (1983). This piece has an attribution mark,
