Characteristic of the maker’s mid-century glass production, the composition balances decorative complexity with a highly controlled sense of movement. Suspended within the clear glass body is a field of evenly distributed bullicante bubbles surrounding six flowing blue and white ribbon canes that spiral outward across the interior. The ribbon-like canes create a sense of radial movement, while delicate aventurine inclusions along their edges introduce a subtle metallic shimmer when viewed in changing light. At the centre sits a detailed green and white stylised flower murrine, acting as a focal point from which the surrounding design radiates. This use of ribbon cane decoration is strongly associated with Fratelli Toso’s mid-century Murano production and remains among the more recognisable decorative techniques employed by the workshop. The original silver "Made in Italy Murano Glass" label remains affixed, together with the gallery label from its original point of sale. Condition: Very good vintage condition with no chips or damage. Minor wear is present to the polished underside, consistent with age and handling.
