Swedish rural made 1 part cupboard.

Made from heavy pitch and painted in original green/grey colour scheme.  Top large single door cupboard open's to reveal 4 pine shelves which are semi adjustable for heights, below which a slight break fronted ledge and a single curved door with working lock and replaced key, this contains a single shelf inside.

Much has been done to maintain this pieces originality.  We discovered that it was put together using 5 inch nails.  It has been treated for worm, 1 replaced front corner and matched painted in, strengthening and restoration of age splits.  Knob has been added to top door, to aid with it having to be slightly lifted to close.  Lock has been restored and a replacement key made.  There are gaps and natural shrinkage but the piece works and is structurally strong, this is part of it's character.
