* Instead of ladders, a system of metal posts is used to hold the individual elements.

Olof (Olle) Pira, born February 18, 1927, in Karlskrona, died November 1, 2018, in Simrishamn, was a Swedish interior designer. He designed the Pira System, Pira Office, Pira Panel, and Q-System furniture series.
