Chippendale-style mahogany console table by renowned American maker Councill Craftsmen. This table features a beautiful rectangular top with a distinctive wide edge banding and a subtly reeded edge. The front facade houses a single, wide drawer adorned with two heavy, polished brass bail pulls over batwing backplates. It stands on straight, square legs with elegant vertical reeding down the corners, structurally reinforced by a low H-stretcher. Open fretwork brackets support the corners under the apron, completing a traditional Chippendale silhouette. With a shallow 15-inch depth, this versatile piece is perfectly scaled for a grand entryway, narrow hallway, or as a sophisticated sofa table.
