Modular shelving system from the "String" series, designed by Nisse Strinning for String Design in Sweden in the 1950s. The composition consists of black lacquered metal side uprights and three slim-profile teak shelves. The String project represents one of the icons of postwar Scandinavian design thanks to the visual lightness of the structure and the flexibility of the modular system. Original "String - Made in Sweden" label present.
