The bulbous body is modeled in trompe-l'œil relief to simulate woven wicker and rope — a sculptural technique that exemplifies the inventive surface treatments for which Manises workshops became celebrated in this period. Set on its original ebonized wood base. Paired with a new hand-woven natural jute shade and new brass fitting. Newly rewired for US use.
