French Empire-style two-light bouillotte table lamp, France, 20th century. The gilt brass and bronze base is detailed with acanthus leaf motifs, fluted candle arms with decorative bobeches, and a gadrooned circular base with dark green painted accents. The adjustable dark green tôle shade with gold-rim trim is operated via the distinctive arrow finial — the hallmark mechanism of the bouillotte form, originally designed for card tables in French salons to direct light as needed. Condition excellent throughout; professionally cleaned and rewired for US use.
