RAYMOND DIERICKS

1904 - 1978
Painter

Painter, watercolorist. Son of Joseph (José) Dierickx; nephew of Omer Dierickx.
Trained at the Brussels Academy under Constant Montald, Jean Delville, and Emile Fabry (1920-1929). First exhibition at the Georges Giroux Gallery in Brussels in 1926.
Founding member of the "Heracles" Group. Taught at the Ixelles School of Art from 1932. Predilection for paintings of processions, festivals, fairs, landscapes, and compositions.
