Large watercolor of four Hershey Park, PA carousel horses. Signed lower right and dated "Nancy H. Strailey 1982".
Provenance: Original owner from Maine consigned to James D. Julia Inc Auctioneers, Fairfield, ME in 2011. There is an article titled Portrait of an Artist about Nancy Strailey in The Carousel News and Trader, March, 1991, Vol 7, No. 3. One of her paintings is featured on the cover of the publication.
Housed in a fine gilt wood frame with linen liner under glass.
SIZE: Sight: 19.25"x27.25", FRAMED: 32-1/2" x 44"
CONDITION: Excellent, vivid beautiful colors. New professional installed paper backing and 3 screw hangers on each side. Frame has some small scratches.
