Sculpted by Michael Lantz and minted by The Medallic Art Company (MACO) of Danbury CT in 1976. Limited release of 250 .999 pure silver with gold plating. One side depicts George Washington with Thomas Paine (New Rochelle resident) with the phrase this is the time that try men's souls...." The reverse shows George Washington surrounded by key moments in his history of the Revolutionary war. Measures 1.75" diameter. Official release by US government for bicentennial purposes. See less
