Rare original French advertising maquette by Henry Le Monnier (1893–1978), created for Établissements J. Sibille, wine merchants in Libourne, Bordeaux region, circa 1950s.
This original poster project was executed by hand in pencil and gouache on thin paper.
The composition combines hand-drawn typography, vineyard cartography, wine barrels and regional Bordeaux references in a highly decorative mid-century commercial design.
The reverse bears handwritten annotations identifying the work as a “projet d’affiche”, confirming its original preparatory purpose.
