Rare original French advertising artwork / poster project attributed to Henri Lemonnier, created for “Établissements J. Sibille” in Libourne, Gironde, France.
This unique mid-century composition combines hand-drawn typography, vineyard cartography and wine trade imagery in a beautifully balanced graphic layout typical of postwar French commercial art.
The reverse bears handwritten annotations identifying the work as a “Projet d’affiche” (poster project), reinforcing its authenticity as an original preparatory advertising artwork rather than a later reproduction.
An elegant and highly decorative piece with strong French wine cellar, bistro and Mediterranean interior aesthetics.
