This spectacular piece was designed by barovier and produced in murano, italy, during the 1940s. Fully original and in amazing condition, with no chips or cracks. The sconce features an extraordinary curved double-leaf diffuser entirely made in thick mouth-blown glass. The surface is enriched by a refined ribbed texture and elegant twisted decorations, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and transparency. The large sculptural form and the remarkable thickness of the glass make this piece extremely decorative even when unlit. The leaf is mounted on a beautifully minimal brass structure with a wonderful warm golden patina. When illuminated, the effect is simply breathtaking, highlighting the different textures outstanding clarity of the blown crystal. Professionally rewired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards. The sconce uses one standard e26/e27 light bulb. A one-of-a-kind and timeless statement piece, perfect for elevating a mid-century, art deco, or contemporary interior.
