Already an accomplished architect, Botta designed a range of furniture for the company Alias during the 1980s. His designs tend to include a strong sense of geometry, often being based on very simple shapes. The Quinta chair is constructed with metal tubing with folded perforated sheet metal seating.
This example was for years used as a garden chair explaining the strong rusty patina. We chose not to restore it. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
