About: OH MY! One of my favorite runners in our entire collection. Stripes alllll the way down to the other end of this piece, adding structure and a masculine feel - but of course, it has those windy and whimsical vines throughout adding such a touch of class and a massively appealing artistic feel to it. I love how the movement inside the structure contrast from one another, and yet still somehow work so magically. Then of course, the colors. Where will you find this green? Where will you find this dusty salmon? How gorgeous is that denim and French blue? Deep charcoal highlights to ever so subtly ground the piece, only to be warmed up with the buffer caramel and camel color, soft antique beige, and then brought back to life when you note again the hundred variations of greens, salmon and blue combo! It's a circle of life inside a beautiful and meandering vine design navigating its way around delicate yet significant boteh motifs. The deep red border is one of the best reds I've seen, and the decorated and unusually nomadic bindings on the edges teleport us back into the villages these pieces were woven. This is a runner that comes from arguably some of the most artistic, and best weaving villages and regions on the face of the earth. And I wouldn't even argue it, it's true. And of course, like all pictures, they don't even do these rugs justice. But this is our best attempt to capture this beauty. You will absolutely look at this rug for hours. There aren't many pieces that can subconsciously arrest you with its structure and lure you in with its artistic charm. Then keep you under its seduction with these charming and playful colors. Wool pile and wool foundation speaking to its nomadic nature, and this piece has some nice age-related wear and patina. A. TRUE. GEM.
This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one available.
Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces, irregularities and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects.
