About: In these pictures, the main shot looks a little more "cool" while the other DSLR photos make the piece a little "warmer" in color - this piece strikes a balance of both - it is a very well-balanced rug with both some coolness and warmth. Depending on the lighting, that can play into the hues slightly shifting. We took the overhead shot on a cloudy day, and the other photos on a sunny day when the light was pouring in. If you like this rug, you will love it even more in person - don't let the warmth or coolness distract you too much - the high lanolin content of the high-quality wool will have this piece glowing in the best way. These ancient old rugs have a way of being very chameleon-like whenever they're placed in the environment.
