It is in two pieces, the top of the secretary rests firmly on the lower portion for easy transporting. There are 6 drawers on the upper portion, six additional drawers just above the desktop and 3 large drawers on the lower portion. The desktop has a lock and the original key is included. All drawer interiors are clean, the secretary in its entirety is in pristine condition with no damage of any kind. It was purchased from a local Baker Furniture showroom was used for decorative purposed only while placed in an occasional room, the original Baker packet is still in the drawer.
