This MCM 1960 sectional is very well built. My brothers and I grew up with this sofa in the 60s and 70s in New York. This was my parents' sectional. It no longer has the original upholstered fabric. A few years back, our older brother had it reupholstered in a luxuriously soft black chenille and a burnt orange/tan/brown paisley cotton fabric, still keeping its MCM style integrity. Not a completely comfortable sofa, but it has always been a "wow" head turner.
The paisley fabric, on the sofa itself, is beautifully pleated.
The multi-shaped legs are made out of wood and painted in a light tannish tone.
This piece can be used, as photographed as one unit, or divided
A versatile and an exceptionally eye catching sectional.
Each section measures 75" wide x 31 1/2" deep x 28" high. If used as photographed in an L-shape it is 107" x 75"
The arm height is 23 1/4" and the seat height is 17"
