Located in the Bavarian Forest, it is world renowned for its glass blowing and each piece is a handcrafted work of art. The pumpkin decanter/carafe is one of their most well know pieces. The pumpkin shape is achieved by casting the molten glass in a four-part metal mold with eight oval openings, giving it an organic, rounded silhouette. Though designed for wine or water, the beautiful fire-polished glass makes it highly popular as a decorative vase. The carafe is preloved and has the etched Crown mark on the base, c.late 20th century. It is lightly tinted in Theresienthal's Ancient Green color. Approximately 8.5"H x 5.5"D. See less
