This beautiful drawing of a mother holding two small children is signed and dated along the lower left edge "Aline Regnault 1833". It is matted and framed in a beautiful 19th century European carved, gilt wood frame.
The drawing appears to be in excellent original condition with no signs of damage, fading, or any significant foxing, though the paper has likely discolored with age. The frame does show signs of wear consistent with age and does have numerous chips/scrapes around the edges.
