This antique racehorse cooling blanket is an exceptionally rare find for a horse racing aficionado or collector of rare Americana pieces. The blanket is circa early 1900s and was an advertisement for Steber Cigars of Jamestown, New York. The yellow blanket is a sheer canvas material with red and black script and binding. This would be a great advertising statement piece in a billiards room, bar or office.
· 70” long x 32” tall (folded in half)
· Antique condition: Blanket has thread worn areas, numerous holes, frayed edges, stains and discoloration as pictured. Colors have some fading and natural patina; antique blanket may have traces of horse hair.
