I have had several art residencies there and … Read more This 18” square painting depicts the black wolves of Yellowstone National Park. I have had several art residencies there and am still inspired by the wildlife which has become my muse. I used many layers of acrylic paint to create this painting. Here I was also playing with saturation, desaturation, complementary colors & temperature. It is all done on a 2” deep cradled wood panel with sides painted black. It will be ready to hang as is.
