Contemporary light sculpture / table lamp, one-of-a-kind, unsigned, attributed to a contemporary artist. Hand-carved from a block of translucent natural stone (likely alabaster), it depicts a stylized face with primitive and enigmatic lines, mounted on a solid onyx base. Internal illumination filters through the thickness and natural grain of the material. Weighs 7 kg. Preserved in excellent vintage condition, intact, solid, and with the original, fully functional electrical system.
